What is a mobile scaffolding
The mobile scaffolding, also known as the scaffolding or tower wheeled bridge, is a construction composed of metal pipes and wooden and metal boards. This equipment is used to perform high-level masonry work, or to allow painting and painting operations both inside and outside buildings. Proper use of mobile scaffolding
Let's see together how mobile scaffolding should be used correctly. The first thing to specify is that on the scaffolding there must be no other structures such as stairs or trestles. Furthermore, the height of the external mobile scaffolding must never exceed the height of the building itself. Before installing a scaffolding, it is always better to contact a surveyor or engineer if you are not very practical. As already specified it is very important that the base is solid to support the loads and to avoid collapses during movement. For all mobile scaffolding, technical safety data sheets are provided for the assembly which also contain information on the material to be used, which must be CE marked. For companies operating in the building sector, training courses have been set up by accredited bodies and at the end of which a certificate is issued. The importance of PPE is also explained during the course. For a correct use of the scaffolding, even before starting work, the helmet must be worn and the belts and straps to be tied to the structure must be in place to prevent the risk of accidental falls.

We have already anticipated that for the correct use of scaffolding it is necessary to wear personal protective equipment. Now let's discover together the guidelines to get to work on a scaffolding in total safety. First of all, you should never climb on the external structures, but use the appropriate stairs provided for access to the scaffolding. Furthermore, no materials should be thrown from above to prevent them from hitting passers-by or work colleagues. Furthermore, you should never lean over the scaffolding and avoid having too many heavy loads at the same time. The scaffolding must be installed away from electrical cables, but if the building's shape does not allow it, it is necessary to take the right precautions. Finally, after its use, clean the gangways and connecting bridges, and check that there are no structural damages.
